11:4. শলোমনের তখন বয়স হয়েছিল, স্ত্রীদের পাল্লায় পড়ে তিনি অন্যান্য মূর্ত্তির পূজা করতে শুরু করেন| তাঁর পিতা রাজা দায়ূদের মতো একনিষ্ঠ ভাবে শলোমন শেষ পর্য়ন্ত প্রভুকে অনুসরণ করেন নি|

11:4. When Solomon became old, his wives shifted his allegiance to other gods; he was not wholeheartedly devoted to the LORD his God, as his father David had been.
